It was mostly a statement of the obvious, right? Americans are bigger risk takers than many of their Canadian counterparts and it's harder to raise risk capital in Canada than in the USA. This is a fact of life, like it or not." No offense taken. American "risk taking" brought the globe to its knees in 2008/9. Can't credit average Americans for that. Can credit their bankers, brokers, and outsourcing corporate executive teams and BOD's. Nothing is bad down there if it makes a white collar parasite a profit. I don't trade the US markets anymore. Sold my US real estate and all stock holdings long ago, when Bush got elected to his second term. Simply terrifying. I think it's pretty easy to raise risk capital here compared to the US, but i'm talking junior mining explorers which don't make up an important percentage of the US mkts. They don't understand commodities down there, nor exploration stocks. They only understand profit regardless of the societal problems. Of course, they didn't let go of slavery easily either, and now mask it with the pretense of border security. Them darn slaves just keep sneaking into the country LOL. The current GOP (God's own party) is now running with Michelle Bachman as the front runner, and she recently said that the founding fathers abolished slavery. Who knew? Maybe god's own party goes with Palin as she astutely pointed out recently that the Sputnik program bankrupted the USSR, which she can apparently see from her house. Fark who knew that? Ya pikers abound, but they don't seem to be in the mainstream up here in canuckland. If the Yanks found another planet to live on, I'd fork over some dough for them to just leave LOL.
