Why the Volume spread? Todays early Volume has Amati 310K & Westell at 55k? Theories anyone? JW@KSC

Hi Jim: I'm back from Europe (actually late last night) and am cringing as I look at the snow in my back yard. Looks like I missed a heck of a week. On my post Monday AM I must have misrepresented myself. I actually read the story in the east coast edition of USA today and posted right b/4 I left for the airport (Monday into Tuesday was one long day, Thursday also). I still don't know the details of the GTE deal but at this point don't care (impersonal but I don't own WSTL, only AMTX) and am only concerned with AMTX. I'm still holding my AMTX stock and options (I didn't hear the TXN news until Wednesday night (paris) but no details, I've a lot of reading to do / catch up on). Right now I'm probably even (stock gains and options with losses) assuming my Jan and April 17.5's are worth a couple of $$. I hope everyone is OK on the deal. I like everyone else would like more but IMO todays price is a lot better than a week ago. Glad to be back and appreciate all my friends from the AMTX cyber space thread. Tim
