*AV*---I like the way you are thinking. I took a few 200-600 shares flyers on KLAC, TER, ASMLF, ASYT, UTEK, WDC, and ATMI, each for a bucketful of points. It helps to defray some margin costs that were starting to pop up. All were purchased just last Wednesday (4 trading days).

WDC-in 20 out 23 (300)
KLAC-in at 37, still in at 45 (500)
UTEK- in at 25, out at 28 (300)
ASMLF- in at 65 out at 77 (200)
TER- in at 32, out at 37 (300)
ATMI-in at 29, still in at 32 (600)

Total profit is $5700 in pocket and $6300 additional on paper. I decided to let both KLAC and ATMI profits run (on previous advice by CC).

By far the biggest $$$ was made on both the KLAC and ASMLF options over this same course of time. Only 10 each but with 9 and 12 points respectively, they provided a good buffer for any further downward pressure.

Good Luck on COMS, which is trading at a real steal of a deal low, IMO.
