Democracy and Republics mean more or less the same thing. Same basic idea and lots of variations. But it is not about forms of governments or haves and have nots. It is about people I like and don't like or respect. People I find mean and stupid, like Palin (whom I know well), or Bachman or Beck. Trouble makers who hate the world and are not hoenst or nice. History is full of such people. What most of history is, is misery. Armies, slaves, serfs and peasnats. Feudal lords and tribal leaders. Plantation owners. The powerful making life hell for the masses. I know who I like and who I don't like. I did not like Joe macarthy or Hoover, or Nixon or either Bush or Raygun. didn't lie th epeopel around them either. Not nice people and horrible leaders who took advantage of people. Real basic shit. Who is nice and who is not.
