Maybe Dems should tax the WEALTH of those with over $20 million....don't tax the incomes, as it is the little guy they are always talking about that gets hurt.

So many Dems rant and rave, and blubber to the masses about taxing the rich....well, if we started talking about taxing wealth, and looking at those who really are wealthy, maybe the Dems would come to their senses, if they every had any in the first place.

I'm truly sick of their pandering about the "mean ole ooooiiiillll companies" and those rich Republicans....

Wait till Alec Baldwin, Bill Gates Sr and Jr, Paul Allen, all of Hollywood who are Dems, Peter Lewis, Soros, and all the etcs like Pelosi in Congress finally realize we know what they're doing.....

oh look! X wants to cut government spending, but X's business took $$$ in government aid! What a hypocrite!

The same argument is often used against those who would like to see sensible changes in healthcare - "You don't like government run healthcare? How come you do not walk away from your right to have medicare? What a hypocrite!"

People who use this kind of argument must be either very stupid or very malicious. Maybe both. But this argument can and should backfire, since it is so obvious to most normal people that only relatively few rich individuals could can afford to refuse their Medicare - or their SS - after paying into them their entire lives.

Oh, if only the Leftists would agree to argue like thoughtful honest people! We would quickly show them the errors of their ways, and things would get so much better.... LOL! Maybe we would become more competitive in the world markets... Maybe we would prevent the looming socioeconomic troubles -- which are inevitable if we continue to pay for prosperity with freshly created dollars.
