so, are you saying that because "all" founding fathers and forebears did not work to end slavery that it is a blatant "untruth"?

The John Quincy Adams information was clearly a "truth" since she used the word "forebear" to describe him, not founder. And he certainly did work tirelessly to abolish slavery.

There were other founding fathers who did own slaves who later become staunch and active abolitionists.

Seems to me like she can be accused of exaggeration here, but not blatant "untruths".

And since we are splitting hairs, since she included "forebears" in the definition, which I suspect was no accident, the fact that it took almost 100 years to end slavery, doesn't negate the statement about founders and forebears working tirelessly to end slavery.
