I believe that you know quite well what my argument is.

I know what your argument is. However, the topic is whether or not Bachmann was being dishonest (or ignorant) about founders and forebearers.

The fact that Bachmann used the word "forebearer" especially as she was focusing on John Quincy Adams indicates that she was extending the definition beyond just the writers of the US Constitution.

If she wanted to be above reproach in what she said, she should have said "many" founders. But if you are going to hold her to this standard for honesty, I certainly hope you hold other politicians to the same standard. Because if inexact statements are an indication of dishonesty, we have some very prominent democrats who can be painted as downright liars right along with republicans.
