The Tigers seem to be struggling with InterLeague games this year too (unless the Ace Verlander is pitching)...;-)

Hey Jim, gonna take the other side of the debate here.

I like the interleague play (IP) because it gives us low lifes in Southern AZ a chance every blue moon to go up to Phx and see teams like the Yankees, or I can't believe I'm saying this, BoSox. These are are the two teams where money is no object. So it's fun to go up and hopefully see the D-Backs win a few against the money machines.

Forget about good and bad teams, every team is in the same boat... luck of the draw. Until the DH goes away, which I doubt it will, interleague play is here to stay.

Go D-Backs!

I saw the Reds play the Orioles at Camden Yards the last weekend in June. The Reds looked lethargic and were playing uninspired baseball. I hold the manager and GM responsible for the team's lack of passion. Even Phillips (who is a great talent) seemed a bit more subdued in comparison to last year.

Since I'll be in St. Louis to see the Reds vs Cardinals Labor Day Weekend, I'd like to see the Reds get their act together. The team is playing like a bunch of drifters.

I'm headed to Philly (short 100 mile drive) to see the Braves vs Phillies this weekend.
