it is good that you wouldn't throw around "sociopath" frivolously in a discussion or argument. Especially since you have a degree in experimental psychology. It would be important to stick with professional and scientific standards before throwing around that word.

I just googled "sociopath" and I don't see how the definition as applied to any of the people you mentioned varies from their liberal counterparts. If the definition for sociopath fits Bush, it also fits Obama. If it applies to Cheney, it applies to Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton.

How does your definition of sociopath apply to Rhenquist, Scalia, Thomas, Alito, Cheney and Bush and not apply to the people I listed above.

And as a mental health professional, is it normal to diagnose public figures without meeting them? And would a difference inn political opinion automatically put a bias in your diagnosis?

I suppose Beck, Bachmann and Palin are also sociopaths?
