The look was harsh, the SILICON INVESTOR too large, the words for the icons too small, but it's a pleasant and hopeful surprise to see you back. I want the SubjectMarks icon in the center, about where I've hit it until midnight. If you make the logo smaller, maybe 60%, ... you can figure it out. Congratulations!

I agree with Elroy. How about an option to dump the fancy new color scheme and icons? I can barely read the light blue text.

Brad I hope you don't take this wrong. I've been an art director for over forty years. While SI has been my "home page" for the past decade, your new "graphics" are not going to help retain that kind of loyalty among new readers. IOW, don't quit your day job, and aspire to become a graphic designer. Please, please, please go back to the original look and feel.

This is good news. I like the changes so far. Hopefully this will bring people back to SI, which seemed to suffer over the last few years...for many reasons, I'm sure. Anyway, it's reassuring to see you back at the controls.

new interface never been wild about change but love the 100 view. It used to work when I clicked on a name the font would change color to red. I liked this feature because even though you can ignore people you cant ignore the responses to them. So i could scan very quickly over posts I dont want to read just by seeing the color of a poster I have on ignore or dont want to read. I see if i click on a subject it changes the font to grey, but not if I click on a posters name.
