We did watch closely for a good while, then we began to feel comfortable it hadn't happened again and put it in the past. We thought a lot about what it might be at the time . An insect bite, a constipation problem, an upset stomach or a virus and none of those had happened so we quit thinking about what it could be. We were amazed that the next morning she was so active and the day before she did not want to stand up on her two legs. None of our other children had any problem like that and this child was quite healthy the rest of her life into adulthood. Neither of her two girls ever experienced that problem but she had been told about her experience as she had no memory of it and I wanted her to be prepared if they did.
