Perhaps. What may happen involves the 14th Amendment, which reads: "...federal debts "shall not be questioned," Obama could elect to continue paying interest on the debt but essentially shut down the rest of the government as needed... stopping social security, air traffic control, armed forces salaries, FDA, disaster relief..... you name it... all because the jackass republicans won't provide the funding. How long will that last? Probably one day before the republicans cave. I have no confidence in Obama's cojone's going into an election, or anytime actually. I expect him to cave.
