Robert,

I would agree, compared to their competition, Fonix has a long long way to go and it may not make it. MSFT and IBM have targeted this field and I would not bet against either of them. I do think that Fonix may be able to fill out some selective niches over time.

I have been watching the stock for about a year now and over the past few months waiting for an announcement from a major company. The criterion was met today and I opened a small position just to get my toe wet.

fonix will grant Siemens exclusive rights to its patented speech recognition technology for specific use in telecommunications applications.

Bob: I agree with most of your post except for the $6 support level. You are quite right about the exclusivity clause. If the technology were at the level that management has led the public to believe, then from a position of power exclusivity would not be a consideration in negotiation.
The 8-K should be out in the next week or so. My humble opinion is that the "multi-million" will not be as significant as the term implies and that the stock drops further. Time will tell.
