I love the mellow background color. Reminds me of the school blackboards when they decided green with yellow chalk was better. You are doing a fantastic job and I'm really liking the whole look-don't change. Happy 4th!!

Brad.. 1) Was there a warning ? 2) font for typing in text box too big. Can I change that ? 3) new header is too big and wastes space... honestly looks more like a Miniclips site my kid would use.. and active area in the big icons is not consistent. 4) colour selection for background etc, a pain and trying to find a non headache inducing combo is proving elusive. A colour selection palette for fore/back ground would have been nice... 5) There are some technical issues like crashing advanced search or better folder management that would have been impressive,, or how about advanced search for PMs ... would be very cool .. 6) what happened to the counter that would bring us to the latest post ? That was cool right under the SI logo.. all JMHO TBS... ex code monkey and software manager.. I'd prefer the old interface back.. but I doubt I'll get it :o( a choice between old/new would make me happy... back to real life.. EDIT: White colour selection is passable were it not so pastel.. hurts my eyes... no contrast... That in itself will reduce online time I think...

Brad looks like the contrast is improved ? or is it the colour I picked #F8F8FF ghost white from the colour page you supplied.. on my notebook the banner with the logo eats up fully one third of my browse window... and worse for a multi tab guy like me... usually two rows.. old and cranky swan
