By changing my options to WHITE for the background page and changing the font size back to 10pt from 12 pt, I now have the same or better readability than I had last week.

Thanks for giving us easy ability to change those options.

I'd vote to make the colourful, nice looking Icons at the top of each page optional as well. Personally, I'd prefer to have the real estate back and used for viewing messages.

While it looks nice once, it does get old really quick and really doesn't serve any useful incremental function.

Don't think the subscription process has been too detrimental to the site.

Pretty obvious to most of us old timers that this continues to be perhaps the most outstanding virtual community on the internet.
