"Has anyone called the NYC/NJ area NASD Office?"

I use Waterhouse and had no problems getting my certs; got them in September. As soon as I settle with my new purchases or RMIL, I'll send them certified copies of my new cert requests.

Anybody else?

Andy, I too have not had much problem getting my certs through Waterhouse which I ordered in early Sepember. It took about 4 weeks. I don't recommend using Lombard/Discover Brokerages. I fought with them for nearly 7 weeks to get my certs for 50,000 shares. Though they did arrive, I will not buy BB stocks through them again. Their customer service stinks. I have found them to be quite a bit higher with BB commissions than with Waterhouse. I also like the fact that Waterhouse has an office in my neighborhood. Last Thursday I initiated a new request for more certs through Waterhouse. It took me just 2 days to get my certified receipt from them.
