There is a tendancy for people to tear down their betters.

W.D. Gann will be remembered 100s of years from now. I am afraid we won't. Yes, he did gamble. Most of his books were written after he was 60+. He had a private plane, house in fla.

most novices pick up the "Gann" story from Elder. a regurgitation of simple indicators, which he applied to futures. Backtest them to see if they work.

I have seen it reported that Elder doesn't trade. It would be interesting to find out how much he makes off his books and seminars. As for the son, he doesn't seem to be a good one to give such an interview about his father.
