In addition to hydrants and manhole covers, thieves have stolen backflow devices, which control irrigation and prevent contamination of a resident's water source. --- Items like street lights, transformers, fire hydrants, manhole covers and so forth are found in civilization, where citizens are trusted not to steal them. The multicultural U.S. sewer pit now reflects a large cross-section of miscreants who cannot be trusted to any degree. The egalitarians must be so proud. -ng-
