Too bad kids don't react like dogs do when we need to give them meds.....A wantabe vet told me to do this with CZ when he needed meds....

Get two small pieces of ham or other meat that can be rolled up....roll or press the med around one, and put it in your right hand. Give the doggie a similar piece from your left hand. They like the left hand piece of meat so well, they will willingly eat the piece in your right hand before they even have time to think about what was in the meat....

Kids would figure that out....but if they liked pudding or something similar, it might work....

They always kept my grandson over night, but he always went home the next day. Too bad they didn't make the medicine taste like bubble gum. ;)
