Me, I really like the icons, and really like this mock-up below, but people are saying it's not professional,and they take up too much space, so Brad listened, and that will change soon.

The problem for me is that it only took 3 clicks to get to a quote with the old SI. It takes 4 clicks with the new setup. And the sacrifice is made so that there can be huge icons for Mail, SubjectMarks, PeopleMarks, and Settings? Who needs the icons? Unnecessary clutter.

Why not just make the icons an option we can toggle on or off like the color band at the top?
