To be a religion does not require a 'god' to be the center.

it requires some kind of superhuman agency, such as a god or gods.

morality on the other hand can be anything. your morals may differ greatly from mine.

for instance, my morality might include running stop lights. it can be literally anything.

you can proclaim anything you want. you can say, as you have, that conservatism is a religion. however, your belief is still inaccurate. you can't make it rigorous. you have just demonstrated that.
