Seems like it's already been switched. I'm now able to see the "next/previous xxx" number of messages of my choice. Was limited to "next/previous 10" previously. Hoorah!!

That IS a change in philosophy, and a welcome one. You may or may not know that currently (as in right now) grandfathered members do NOT have access to premium features such as advanced search. When do you plan to flip that switch? 10 minutes ago! All Grandfathered and Premium users just became "Lifetime" I also upgraded everyone who has posted 10 messages as of today to Premium. The new "Premium" is what registered users can earn by posting messages and getting approved by the community. Right now Ron is the only one with that approval ability.
