Oh, I think they exist. Consider this: The (R)'s are totally all about the deficit and debt. Most of the country could give a shit. Then, there's THIS: pollingreport.com Check the approval/disapproval for (R)'s, in poll after poll. The (D) numbers are almost identical, but Obama's are MUCH better! The (R) party is committing suicide for ideology, and all but the most deluded right wingnuts, which you find on these threads, KNOW it. If they crash the economy over this debt limit crap, their numbers will head south from the toilet. It might even be WORTH it!
