Trailing stop is always best .... perhaps <stock price - 10%> which I've used on well-in-the-money trades. Often times, depending on just how badly I really want to own the shares, I'll lock in a guaranteed 10% or 15% profit and set one stop at that level to ensure that minimum return. For this trade it would be about $8.50 or so ... which gives enough room for some profit taking, while not being too thin that a quick dip closes the position when they shake the tree.
