Agreed. That's why I suggested it be optional for the individual member, but the default is for them to expire. That way, the peoplemarks and ignores (and bans) of someone who's last been here in 1999 will no longer have effect.

I'm in agreement with leaving Ignores and Peoplemarks alone - I don't want an automatic reset. Once I've created these items it's highly unlikely I will be changing them. That should be left to my discretion. It would be annoying to have to redo them on an annual basis.
