Thanks David. CTSL also likes Mattson Technology a lot - and I've looked but the financials are not what I'd like to see, so I figured the guy knew something about the technology that others may have missed. After seeing the NYT article I think I'm going to pass on Mattson. The UTEK people all are crazy that Bob Brinker recommeded the stock - but checking his record Hulbert only rates him a B in an up market and a C in a down market, and between 11/90 and 1/91 his portfolio performed 15.8% a year - a little lower than the S&P 500 according to my numbers. I think the moral is to do your own research. The tools are here now for us. Thanks again for the comments. Best - Joe
