Then what is the point of a MOD? You might as well get rid of them completely. Either they serve a useful function & relieve Admin of some of the Admin duties by enforcing the TOU on investment boards or do away with them.

As for SI possibly being a hotbed for scammers, anytime there is money involved, there will be scammers. It's not the Mods on iHub that result in scammers, it's the jerks who violate the spirit if not the letter of the TOU.

Beg to differ, Michal....When posters clearly violate the guidelines of a thread, its Moderator should be able to delete that post immediately, without having to ask SI/Admin to delete it...as I have had to do on occasion..Seems to me a logical/necessary feature of the "moderating" function...

Moderators are able to ban posters from their threads immediately...as I have done... just once...Do you disagree with that too ??
