Why should republicans say yes? Obama screwed up the health care negotiations, leading to a gutted health care bill and a republican takeover of Congress. He allowed an extension of the Bush tax cuts, claiming that it was the only way to extend unemployment benefits. Now it sure looks like he's screwing up the budget/debt ceiling talks. It's getting late. Unless Obama shows some backbone and leadership very soon he's toast. You underestimate Obama. I think you might be in for a surprise.
