Doug- let's see how your record stacks up with your following comment because I don't recall you saying: ' Remember how I said that I thought coms was going to mid to low 30s, convievably high 20s if overall mkt was bad enough?' 'And that I would probably buy in then, when it stopped falling? Well I bought some on Friday at 30.75, and more this am at 33.' First off, I find it odd, very odd that you would wait until 2:06 pm today to let us all know how you so cleverly purchased COMS at 33 this morning, let alone buying some on Friday at 30 3/4, in light of your recent comments: 11/6 # 9695 - I will probably buy back into coms, but feel the near term isn't pretty. Post earnings gives me the 30 day wash sale rule enough time to run <g>. 11/7 #9760 - It is my opinion not intelligent to be holding this stock prior to next earnings release. As I've been saying. Seem to be many deer caught in headlights around here. 11/12 #10069 - It looks to me like everything's going lower til the end of the month anyway. 11/12 #10088 - Getting ugly, I'm becoming convinced that the Naz at least will go signif. lower than the Tues 28 intrady low. Mostly cash is feeling real good at the moment. 11/12 #10106 - Lambs to slaughter. Why not listen? 11/13 #10242 - Coms modem sales are highly problematic. As I've repeatedly said.COMS meger w/USRX is questionable, as I've said. They overpaid, as I said. I MIGHT buy at the end of this current unpleasantless. Csco shot up on whiff of Naz rally, as did Intc, Dell, etc. Not COMS. 11/14 (Friday morning the day of Doug's first buy) #10244 - Add to that the sort of dirty secret that 98 estimates were inflated anyway, as are 5 year growth estimates. 11/14 thru 2:06 pm on 11/17 - Doug undergoes a self imposed quiet period. I guess this time is needed to see which way COMS will go on Monday. Looking back on hindsight when did Nov. 14( re-entry point for Doug) generally become known as the end of the month? Could the Naz have bottomed significantly on 11/14?, what intelligent investor would hold let alone buy COMS before earnings release? what ever happened to the 30 day wash rule, could it have been changed to 7 instead? why buy into a company that paid too much for USRX and holds dirty secrets of inflated 98 earnings? In summary, why join lambs going to slaughter? I could go on but I think you fella's get my point. Good luck to fella's like Mang, Glenn, and many others who have left their heart and wallets on the table for COMS. Dana Adams
