<< In terms of congressional representatives the people who hold views antithetical to what you espouse are in the majority--therefore one cannot just dictate a wish list of liberal fulfillment. It's the art of the possible remember. All we are asking for is fighting the good fight. Bush passed two tax cuts for the rich by lying about what they would do and then doing it by reconciliation 51 votes. Or how about a few filabusters? or veto threats. Right now Obama could use the 14th ammendment, but we know he won't. And also just saying social security and medicare are sacred and I will veto any attempts to cut them. He is always reacting to threats who use terrorist tactics. What happened last fall and looks like it will happen again.
