The two colors (blue/gray) are very similar in appearance. May I suggest using a color with some red in it for already read posts? There is enough contrast, it would make it much easier for people to distinguish between the two.

If I am reading a board and the "TO" is grayed out, it is difficult to see who the "FROM" poster is responding to. This makes the flow of the conversation(thread) more difficult to follow.

Brad....I will work on creating a setting that strips away SI's link coloring altogether so you can have the bright blue and colored visited links that the browser defaults to...it will look ugly as heck, but if you really want it, who am I to argue with the customer!

Brad, good stuff in giving SI users a "choice" in the matter...i agree with Neeka in giving us the choice to toggle back to the "old ways" in backtracking on threads where previous posts were read (the red/pink jumped right out at us).

So far so good with the improvements made, keep up the good work!

It may "look ugly as heck" but to color impaired sight, some people, like me cannot distinguish between gray and light blue. This includes light shades of red.

Is Dave still an SI admin?

I ask because if he is, my SI "life" may come to an abrupt end - again - like anytime now, since he and I have a "history" going WAY back.

If he is, I'll try my hardest not to step on his ever so "sensitive" toes. (g)

If he isn't, PAAAARTY!!! (VBG)
