Well, yeah. Deficits kill jobs. High taxes kill jobs. We know that. They're putting up a more valiant fight against the Ds than anyone has since Gingrich did in the 90s.

CA needs to understand they can't have everything they want when they want it. They have destroyed the business climate there with insane tax-and-spend policy. So, they have to give up some other conveniences of legitimate government.

You mean the Obama tax cuts. Pretty much the last thing the lameduck Democratic Congress did in office was extend the tax cuts they'd been demagoguing for years. Obama signed them.
