Perfectly legit. Folks profiting apparently off the banks not foreclosing on a vacant house. Since the HOA was subordinate to the mortgage no reason to notify the banks in the LP when the association did their foreclosure suit... Once you become legal titleholder you do what you want with it either live for free or rent it till the bank is issued a certificate of title way down the road these days..
