Indeed, to each his own Neeka. I've messed around with a few background colours but came back to what Brad had in place within the "beige" group of colours as i'm finding it easier on the eyes. The bottom line is to give us the "choice" per the features (ie. animated header or not) and changes made moving forward...cheers!

FWIW, on my computers, LCD, LED, no problems with the blue or gray text. I run SI on a white background. Better contrast.
