The world marches on- thank goodness. I wasn't all that fond of the 60's- and there's no way I'd want to go back to the 50's. When I try to be charitable, I think what these people really want is a return to their own youth- since most of them are pretty dang old, and this newfangled world just reminds them how very old they are. But still, that's not a superb reason for screwing everything up for the younger generation. I look forward to the die off of the political dinosaurs- and then we'll know where we are- and I hope it is somewhere more tolerant than the winger factions wish it would be. The rise of the breeding Mormons, though, is problematic. If there was ever a reactionary religion, that's it. Those folks not only want the whole country to go back to the 50's, they are living there now- and breeding like it's 1899.
