Did you double bag them as EPA suggests before taking them to be recycled? And where do you take them?

I have about 40 in use and have only had three fail in the last five or six years.

Most all the CFLs and incandescents for sale today are poor quality Chinese garbage. I have both types in my house, indoor and outdoor, and none of them last worth a damn. I've kept the burned out CFLs in a bag in the closet until I can figure out a safe way to get rid of them..
