The truly outstanding ones go on to be vice presidents and sometimes even CEOs. Having said that, I would agree that there are too many lousy CEOs who are paid way too much for their abysmal results. They should be cut off without their golden parachutes. Just like "CEOs" of Silicon Valley startups that don't do well. You see them deploying any "golden parachutes"? Tenchusatsu
