Yes, and I can't find any evidence the federal taxpayer is spending less on states than they were before. Perhaps they are, I don't know; but overall, federal spending is up. I asked you for proof. Thus far, you can't come across. Let me clear up your confusion. The feds are spending less on the states. Then again, we not hearing much whining from the southern states so they are probably still getting a greater share of the distribution.....as they always do.> if you want to grow and progress and stay informed, you need to stop watching Fox News. While I occasionally watch Fox News, I spend more time watching OTHER TV news by a factor of three or four. I watch FNC at times to get a little bit of balance, which you cannot get anywhere else. I asked you for proof of your claims. I spent time looking for proof myself and couldn't find it. I know, with certainty, we're spending more on unemployment benefits (that's half your claim) than we were before. "More than 1.3 million unemployed workers won't be getting their next round of unemployment benefits, after Congress failed again to pass an extension bill Wednesday night. With Congress taking a Fourth of July recess, those hoping to get their benefits reinstated will have to wait until at least July 12th, when Congress comes back in session to pick up the issue. The main holdup is coming from Republicans, who have filibustered the bill three times. They say paying for the benefits by adding to the national debt is unacceptable. Instead they propose using the leftover money from last year's economic recovery package to pay for the bill. For now, Democrats have rejected that offer." abcnews.go.com
