Aberdeen International (TSE:AAB)

Has anyone done due diligence on this stock? I was working through the January 31, 2011 f/s (footnote 3. Investments - publicly-traded investments) and couldn't find the Aguia Resources Ltd. performance shares reference to Note 4 when I was reading Note 4 (only see it in the table). Any info on the Forbes & Manhattan (Coal) Corp. - I looked at the website... is it an affiliate or separate vehicle for management?

For a 234.92M company with 85M shares outstanding... and 2B in tangible assets it seems like an interesting play...

Then you see almost 3B in debt and in the newspaper industry, I immediately cross it off.

Cash flow has always been extraordinary in the newspaper and print company. In fact, I love it too but with this many unknowns I would keep my money elsewhere. There are better deals than this on the market.
