Paul,

It seems everyone is buying back the stocks they sold. With the Insider and NTAIF sales of Deswell common, anyone that sold and wanted to buy back had a good chance to get it cheaper. I foolishly held then averaged down. I didn't realize the panic would run so deep.

I had 9 holdings before the fall. Most of them fell 5-10%, but Deswell was a major holding and it lost 34%. I decided all of my stocks would return to their original price including Deswell. I sold off almost all of the small losers because I can buy them back later at near the same price and put the money in Deswell. I got warrants around 5.50 to lower my position to a little over 6 and stock at 17.625 putting me a little over 19 on current buys, 14.40 if I consider my original buys.
I am now 80% in Deswell and not nervous. I have adopted a policy of 'hold and ignore the price swings'. I won't be buying more, but it would take a very good price (11/30+) for me to sell.

As I look at it, if they grow at HALF their current rate, accumulated earnings and dividends will equal the purchase cost in 4 years.

I had been holding cash to upgrade a machine for my business but now have decided that I'll postpone until Spring and send it to Schwab. Now I'm like the bull that's put in a pen with young heifers in heat- trying to chose and upset with my limited resources.

For what it's worth,
Ron
