Brazil needs a lot of NG refueling stations since they had 1,664,847 NG vehicles as of last Dec. or about 16 times what we have here. Argentina has even more than Brazil.

We have discovered enormous quantities of NG reserves in the last ten years in this country but while the rest of the world is increasing NG vehicles at a 30% annual rate, we creep along doing virtually nothing.

Does Pickens still favor NG for truckers/commercial and electric for the general population? Here in the Seattle area they are installing the first wave of electric recharge stations, hoping that "If you build it, they will come" - but I'm not sure that most folks will seriously consider driving electric - the initial cost of ownership is still pretty high, and the thought of driving what appears to be a less sturdy/substantial vehicle in the thick traffic we have here is daunting. I'm guessing many would go for a hybrid gas/plug-in - I certainly would if the price was right.
