He must not be happy with how that's working so he resorts to more dramatic means? LOL...you know this is non sense don't you?

Let's put it this way. If the survivors of a tragedy go on to live better, more fulfilling, and more humble lives (as they should), wouldn't that be nice for society as a whole, even if they give credit to some unseen being?

The premise is likely fallacious...in any case these people don't seem to question, indeed they are grateful to an "authority" that takes random life, life they clearly cherish, for the purpose of guiding them towards an outcome that is first doubtful and should be achievable through other means...see, that's my fundamental problem with religion...I clumsily call followers mindless idiots, but what I really mean is that religious dogma is antithetical to critical thinking...that and the fact that I find most religious people poor stewards of their surroundings...as well as followers of convenience ...etc...
