Claude,

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you and compliment you on your behavior during the "IPMCF Saga."

You have handled yourself in a calm and professional manner against the howlings and rudeness from the likes of CL-Frank-Matt Austin-..., JKNF (aka !!!!! ?????), Lew "I'm too busy to post. I gotta go write my next movie" Green, Chuca "I'mFromAnotherPlanet" Marsh, and all the sundry "Going-to-the-moon"/ "We're-gonna-be-rich" / "The-shorts-suck" shrieking.

You came out of this looking like "gold", but many posters have done serious damage to their reputations. It will take them a long time to recover their credibility (if ever).

I own only 800 shares, but there will be many honest people who bet the farm and will suffer significant damage due to their believing (still believe) most of the SI hype.

This has been a tremendous lesson in Market Psychology.

The bad news : I will be taking the loss in 1997.
The good news: I will no longer have to follow this thread.

All the best,
Jay

I'll second Jay's e*motion, Claude. You've taken some heat here from the predictable sources, but your personal stock rose in my valuation.

Enjoy your comments around the threads ....... cheers ....... marcos

Claude: Wanted to say I carefully considered your advice re. IPM from the start, bot. a bit and sold some on the way up; sold the remainder today for an overall net of 40%. I'll take that anyday...and perhaps we'll buy back into IPM when they prove up a few things. Until then, there are many other solid companies out there (e.g., N. Crown). A satisfied subscriber (and I especially appreciate the timely updates via e-mail).
