Yes I do favor a tax increase for everybody combined with an equal amount of budget cuts

Equal dollars or equal percent?

Do you favor an equal tax increase for everybody?

Maybe instead of a tax increase, we raise everybody's income by 10%, that would result in more than a 10% increase in federal revenue since people would end up in higher brackets.

Why is a tax increase necessary?! I would only be in favor of a tax increase if the gov't gets their finances in order and shows the taxpayers fiscal restraint, responsibility and accountability. Blindly giving a bloated bureaucracy more money to waste is just plain stupid.

The gov't needs to get the US economy back on track and growing which will lower unemployment and increase tax revenue. Of course with a socialist like Obama in office this is highly unlikely. Bottom line is the bozo has got to go!
