Yeah, it's tougher to compete in some divisions than others. In many ways, Washington reminds me of the Jays with some exciting players facing the same kind of obstacles as the Jays, being divisional front runners who are virtually strong top to bottom.

Sure hope to see a changing of the guard before long with teams like Washington, Cleveland and the Jays putting together teams with synergies that can compete successfully with the current front runners.

Baseball is changing with the younger players now stronger, more disciplined, better trained and faster than many who have gone before. Looks like Washington, Cleveland and the Jays are the first to recognize such a shift!

Look for the shift to youth to heat up in the next year or two!
