It doesn't take courage to use them, it takes fear. When fearful enough, they'll be used. It doesn't make sense to do a physical land attack when such weaponry is available. The USA didn't do a physical land attack in Japan because it would have meant taking great casualties. Fear was too great. So cut to the chase and go for the big one. Get it over and done with quickly, maybe without any loss of life if the mere threat is convincing enough. Mqurice
