(Anand, Justin) (Entered: 07/13/2011) Doc 231 PDF file viewer.zoho.com Extract - 2. On June 22, 2011, the United States moved for a 30-day continuance of the sentencing. That motion remains pending. The United States stated that it was engaging in a laborious summary analysis of trading records to determine with as much precision as possible the total loss to investors who purchased Conversion Solutions stock between July 8, 2006 and October 24, 2006, as well as an investor-by-investor summary loss analysis. 3. The analysis is taking longer than anticipated because of the volume of trading data, which includes hundreds of thousands of transactions during this period. The United States had been told by the individual at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority that results should be available in early August. 4. Thus, the Government respectfully amends its continuance request to request that the Court continue the sentencing date for a period of 60 days, or any date thereafter. This continuance is necessary to obtain as accurate loss and restitution numbers as possible for victims, as well as to identify as many victims as possible and provide notifications to any victims identified through this process.
