Legalizing drugs would put law enforcement and cartels out of business so we know that won't happen.

We abandoned doing business in Mexico after a meeting with an official at the Mines Branch in Guadalajara. He said it was great we were employing local people and that we had a certificado de mineria for our property was also a good thing but what really mattered is how well we got along. The good Sr. then told us of a ski trip his family went on when he was a boy to British Columbia and how much he wanted to go back with his family.

Two hours later I had to bribe a cop over a speeding ticket and as I was complaining later one of our Mexicans said - he has to eat to.

If I lived in Mexico I would be a drug dealer to. It is more honest than pretending to be something you're not.

In Mexico under their Napoleonic code you are presumed guilty.
