Yep, that smells like ZiVA. For those that haven't smelled it before, go to the bank and take out $350 in cash. Look at it, does it look good? Can you see the detail on the bills?(old folds, the stamps, the print) Then run you figures through it. Can you hear the sound? Nice, clear and crisp? Then hold the money to you nose(and don't roll it up into some kind of straw). Take a good whif. That's ZiVA!

Guangdong Records High Growth in
Electronics

November 18, 1997 (GUANGZHOU, China) --
Guangdong province in southern China reported a
38-percent increase in the output of its electronics industry in the
January-October period.

The province's electronics output reached RMB71.1 billion (US$8.57
billion) in the period.

According to a provincial government official, electronics has been the
fastest growing sector in Guangdong in the past few years, with an
average annual growth rate of 35 percent. For example, among the
best-selling brands of color TVs in China, more than 20 are from
Guangdong province.

The province's output of magnetic heads for computer products
accounts for nearly a third of the world's total, the official said.

And among the 55 most popular electronics appliances in China, 24 are
made mainly in Guangdong.

Guangdong has more than 40 electronics enterprises under the Ministry
of Electronics Industry, and they have combined fixed assets of
RMB12.3 billion. Those enterprises generated a total output valued at
RMB61.5 billion in 1996, accounting for a fifth of the national total.
