Iranians are exactly like the Puritans who constructed the US.
Radicals who only accepted their own way of doing things.

The Puritans were not persecuted people who wanted a land where they could practice their radical brand of religion.

Thee were people who did not accept anything but their own ideas. Obviously they could not live in England.
They moved to tolerant Netherlands. They could not live there either.

Their radical brand of religion were seen by their Aiatollahs as being diluted among the people who liked freedom of thought.
They took to the Mayflower in then in the wilderness of New England they could be as they wanted to be.
And those whom they thought were herectics had the hardest time one could think about.

Only after many other people put in check their radicalism the US became a land where others could be free to think.
